Hello everyone,
It has been a long time! We are all stuck at home and it is not going to get over soon. Hope you are all occupied and keeping you up to date!
I know we have no reason to dress up n show somewhere and happily enjoying the casuals at home all the time. Anything that is going on for a long time is boring. How to pep up and enrich your days?
Stick to a schedule.
Strictly no pyjamas or nighties during the day. The moment you are picking the outfit for the day, you are setting the mood of the day. Choose wisely. On the days you feel dull and low, choose the outfit that is either your favorite colour or the right fit. Stop saving for the occasion. Today is the day and your happiness really matters. Pretend it is your fun/meeting day and pick the respective outfit. Accessorize and do the right makeup. The image that you are looking at the mirror now is the image you love to project.
Keep moving. Avoid sitting in one place for more than 30 mins. Just get up, fetch a glass of water, walk for a few minutes and continue your work.
Have your specific time for workouts daily. Your serotonin rush is your basic necessity during this time. Choose anything that will energize you. A workout/dance workout video, a relaxing yoga or the long walk, if possible, will keep your mood stable.
Connect. With people and to your inner self. Everyone is looking for someone to cling on, to talk to, to share. Lend your ears without judgements and vent out. It is natural.
Start doing something new. I have learnt the mandala art and look forward to doing better with every new work. It just happened from nowhere. Look out for something that could keep you in good spirit. Learning something new will definitely take you to the school/child mode. I swear you will love that.
Life is too precious. What could be a better time to realize than now! Live the way you wish. Stop worrying about people. Everyone is busy with their life. And it doesn't really matter.
Reach me if you feel like sharing, clearing any doubt or just like that. Let's stay connected and sail through this pandemic.
